WEBINAR: Working in a trauma informed way

Trauma-informed practice is a term that is frequently used, but it isn't always clear what is meant by this. At its core, though, trauma-informed practice aims to offer care and support that is underpinned by an understanding of the biopsychosocial impact of trauma. It's important to consider this for the children and young people who come to attention of services as well as for the wellbeing of professionals.

This workshop will focus on what 'trauma' means and what it might mean to work in a 'trauma-informed' way and is relevant for any multi-agency practitioner working with children and families.
